Q: How did Ohno-san gather the members for this discussion in June 2017?

S: I think there are really many situations that I think would be as we please, when we did our first dome tour, originally we did tour of arena size (※凱旋記念公演ARASHI AROUND ASIA), as a result we were allowed to do it at Toyo Dome in a form of looking it back (※凱旋記念最終公演 ARASHI AROUND ASIA+in Dome).
When I become adult of course I know, there are issues like schedule, there are people who think it better to have the live at arena because they can see us up close. As we are asked about doing things as we please, if I am to answer Aoki-san’s question, this (suspension of group activities) would be the last thing we do as we please, right?
Q: While the 2019 tour is already announced, would it be fine for fans to cry? Or would you like to see them smile?
M: This is not something we can decide (giggle).
N: You are already crying, in your case (giggle).
M: Of course we would like to spend the time with our audience joyfully, but everyone has different thoughts, as also written in my message, because of course it would take time for our fans to understand our decision, we are happy just by our audiences coming to the concerts, and it would depend on the audience how they would like to listen to our songs and watch our performance in our concerts.

M: First of all, when we work on our concert tour we also want to celebrate our 20th anniversary like doing an event that everyone can have fun together, and as we did in our 10th anniversary, we would like to make a best album summarising our 20 years and video clips. Q: Is there anything Ohno-san would like to do?
O: In these two years I would like to express my gratitude to our fans as possible, and we shall have lives, let’s think about what we shall do together.
Q: What is ARASHI to Ohno-san?
O: ARASHI. It’s ... difficult to express by words. It is nothing by treasure to me, ARASHI is my life, really I have been ARASHI for 20 years who is more than half of my life, it shall be shining in my heart forever.
Q: Did you report to Johnny (Kitagawa)-san? What did he say?
O: Johnny-san said “I think that this is not something I can decide, this is something we all decide. In these 20 years, you really worked very hard, thank you”.
Q: Now the concerts are on show, is this concert confirmed after you all decided the timeline of end 2020, a concert to express gratitude to your fans?
M: There is also such thought. When we started to think about it, we have not come to a conclusion on our discussion. However this was one of the reasons that we decided to do this many number of concerts. But, more than anything, when we are allowed to do concerts every year, the reality is that every year there are many fans who cannot come to our concerts, so in this 20th year which is a time-mark, in this year which we are to celebrate the anniversary, we said that we hoped to do any many concerts as possible so that more people could come to watch our concerts, this is the reason that we do so many concerts.
Q: No concert is planned in November which is the anniversary month of your debut, is there anything you are thinking about to do in November?
M: We have no plan. U-m, though it would be great if there would be some activities. There is issue on venue, and we hope that many people can see us, because there is only one day for this 3 November that is our debut day, no matter where we do concert there is limited number of people who can watch it, so it would be great if we can find a way to share this day with more people. It may or may not be possible.

M: We shall try our best.
Q: After this announcement, will the formation of the tour be changed?
M: The concert will not be changed because of this announcement. The concert may simply change a bit because of songs we are going to release, rather, we shall continue thinking about how to do the concert after the announcement. Therefore it will not be changed because of this announcement.
Q: I think that the concert this time had a content that makes audience strongly aware of “five people”, is this deliberately shown?
M: Rather than deliberate, I think that things just turned to be like this naturally. This is the thing we wanted to show the most.
