Q: What did you think when the song is decided to be sung by ARASHI?
S: Because we all know that Aiba-kun loves Koshien, we were very happy that we could enjoy the tournament together.

M: Usually, (Aiba-kun) does not change the channel of TV in the green room, but when it comes to Koshien, he definitely would sit near the TV, and get the remote control and tune the TV to the channel of high school baseball and watch the games all along.
S: Usually I am in charge of changing TV channels, really. But only during the Koshien, I can't touch anything (remote control) at all.

Q: Messages to high school baseball players.
S: We also hope that we would be able to support the exciting games with our song. I am looking forward to the exciting tournament.
O: I hope that this tournament would be such a tournament that even I become an old man, this tournament would be as fresh as thing happened ysterday. I also support the games.
N: Childen of Little League are watching the games behind the back net, indeed the children of Little League watch the games, and indeed aim at this place (Koshien), really, I hope that the appearance of players fighting with all their efforts would continue as long as possible.

SPECIAL Netto Koshien THE LIVE Taikan STAGE 2018, 2018.08.02, Roppongi Hills

- In the first place I like high school baseball very much, every year, about once in summer or spring, I shall go to Koshien to watch high school baseball, therefore I am really honoured to be able to work in a position to convey the tournament to audience. I shall work my best to deliver the touching moments to audience. I shall watch various things in the Stadium thinking if there would be stories, do coverage on the stories, and report to audience.
- Even I am watching the games on-site, for high school baseball, somehow I want to cheer for the losing teams. Though I am there supporting the losing teams, as for the atmosphere of the stadium and the flow of the tournament, I hope to pay attention to the things out of eyesight or are not seen and convey various things to audience.
- Basically because I like all high school baseball players, I’d like to support all schools, but because my hometown is Chiba, Chiba has two schools entering the 100th anniversary tournament this time, in my heart I think “it’d great that if they would go to higher rank”, Kisarazu Sohgoh High School and Chuo Gakuin High School.
- (About SP Gokyu Koshien) Player Matsui Hideki is huge! He has a huge body. He looked back the five consecutive intentional walks in the high school time. Please do watch the programme for this interview!
- (About singing Natsu Hayate at Koshien Stadium) Really because Koshien Stadium is a place to play baseball and it is a sacred place, we felt indebted being able to go to the stadium, we felt “Is it fine for us to go in?” when entering the Koshien Stadium, it was a special experience to us. There was no baseball game that day, we were told to “Please go in”, it was an extraordinary feeling. Despite feeling sorry, it was a special time for us. (Q: You stood in the Stadium not as baseball players but as ARASHI, right?) Unexpectedly we did. We felt sorry about this.
- I didn’t take ground soil home. I would have been a thief had I done so. (giggle)
- I hope to convey the charm of high school baseball by displaying various things on the stadium and searching for stories.
- I am really honoured to be able to participate in the historic 100th high school baseball tournament. As the high school baseball players devote their lives on every single pitch and catch, we shall also support them with all our effort, convey what we are able to convey, and then do our best on whatever we can do.

A: (Being 100th Koshien Special Navigator) Because it was my dream, really, even not with this work, I often come here to watch the tournaments, I love high school baseball. It’s my honour that I have relationship with Koshien in such format.
S: When you said “your dream”, do you mean “you wanted to be a Koshien player”? or “get a work related to Koshien”?
A: Though it was also my dream to appear as a Koshien player, this already couldn’t be achieved.
S: Right, confirmed not to be achieved when you were 18 years old.

M/N: (Dream of being professional baseball player) We did.
M: When I was primary school student, when it was summer break I’ve been watching the games all~ along, and I had a dream “some day I would also be playing baseball here”. I haven’t thought that today I am here not because of playing baseball but because of singing.

A: (Chose “Ball” - The thing the five members overcame with baseball) Indeed I feel this the most when I did live, that “We Five are ARASHI”.
S: It’s frequent for Aiba-kun, for me too, the director (of live) is Matsumoto. For instance, when we need to put off one costume to change the atmosphere, I and Aiba-kun very often forget to put off the costume.
A: Right so.
S: When we sing, Matsumoto was like (staring at them and gesturing to put off costume).
M: It’s not like that.

N: (Chose “Hundred” - Thing you want to do for even hundred times) (All giggle)
A: To imagine.
N: Yes. Though the answer is not new at all, for me it’s “playing game”. Why did I get this question...

S: (Chose “Summer” - Members’ summer memory) (Read out the question)

S: The press release of our debut. It was mid September (1999), we had the debut press release in Hawaii, we appeared in cruiser. One thing or another, it became the very memory of mine~

M: (Chose “Hot” - The passionate side of members) Everyone is really passionate about the various things we really like. For instance, (Leader is) fishing, Nino mentioned game just then, Aiba-kun really likes high school baseball ... (silently look at S)
S: What’s my favourite hobby?
M: ... Journey?
S: I don’t quite have favourite hobby...

O: I got the boat driving license, so my fishing spectrum became wider. I can drive as captain even in private.

Q: For instance ARASHI appeared in cruiser in Hawaii, it’s possible that the cruiser is driven by Ohno-san.
