Popular group・ARASHI’s 51st single “I’ll be there” (release on 19 April) was sold 394,000 copies in the first week, topping the Oricon weekly single chart of 1 May.
It is the 47th time in total ARASHI’s singles top the chart, which is second in history. It gets close to the record B’z keeps having 48 singles topping the chart. In addition, it is the 40th single ARASHI tops the chart consecutively since “PIKA★★NCHI DOUBLE” (release in February 2004). It also keeps second to B’z record of 48th consecutive champion.
The single this time is the theme song of the Fujitv drama “Kizoku Tantei” (Monday 21:00) in which member Aiba Masaki takes the leading role. It livens up the 30th anniversary “Getsuku” with dynamic and flamboyant melody.
