17.08.26 24HTV40 - Dart’s Journey - Mother & Kid - Sakurai Sho

Sho-san met a mother and her kid Towa-kun. The kid was not born by the lady. He was her brother’s son, her brother was not able to take care of him and planned to send the kid to facility, before that, this lady took the kid to take care of him. It was five years ago, at that time Towa-kun was five months old. Over these five years Towa-kun does not know that she is not his born mother.

Currently there are 3,644 families taking care of the children not born by the family.

In the programme a special room was arranged for the lady to declare to Towa-kun that she is not his born mother. When the lady declared, Sho-san murmured (in another room) “Try best, try best.” Towa-kun said “I see.” when he knew that the lady was not his born mother. The lady asked Towa-kun if he will still treat her as mother, Towa-kun said of course. Sho-san asked Towa-kun if he likes his mother, Towa-kun said "I like mama all the time".

Concluding comment of Sho-san:
Really to Yukie-san, since I think this is a declaration which took her a great deal of courage, really I had a feeling of gratitude and appreciation to her hard work. Rather than a new step to her, while, yesterday, tomorrow, I hope they would live the same as they have been.
If 10 years or 20 years later, there is a chance for Towa-kun to make declaration on what he exactly thought or felt at that time, I strongly hoped that at that time, that declaration would be done with the smiling faces of Towa-kun and his mother.

17.08.26 24HTV40 - ARASHI ni Shiyagare Live SP - ARASHI

At started members asked Sho-san if he is tired, Sho-san answered not at all.

The first contest was Nino’s Chicchana Yabou corner. It was about contest vs athletes. The first contest was 1m running race. The device measuring 1m running speed used in previous Shiyagare was used. The first ARASHI runner was MatsuJun, his speed was .788s. Koyama-san ran .793s. Ninja ran .905s. The third contest was Johnny’s Caster trio vs Masu Announcer and Miura Announcer on Stutter. Sho-san did it so well and he won. Someone shouted “ZERO~” when Sho-san won and Sho-san shouted “Murao-san I did it” joyfully.

The fourth contest passing overhead ladders. Masaki-san did it 15s, Player Yoshida did 12s. Chi-kun (monkey) 9s. Player Noguchi 12s. Winner was Chi-kun.

Then the programme proceeded to This is Live MJ corner. The challengers were Leader, Sho-san, Kame, Koyama. The contest was passing a fence then the small window above the door. Jun said that ARASHI members have not been challenger in This is MJ before. Leader and Sho-san said that they had confidence. Sho-san was the third to try, he kicked and passed through the door straight XD Leader also didn’t pass the small window and he asked “It’s not OK?” innocently (kawaii) after that. MatsuJun passed through the window but the upper part of the window broke. Player Yoshida awarded the most kakkoii man to Sho-san (Sho-san's doyagao was fantastic).
