17.10.06 ARASHI・Aiba Masaki’s Rekomen! ARASHI Remix – Unit Song of “untitled”

A: This time we don’t put solo but unit songs in the album “untitled”, the unit songs are formed by two members or three members. I sing one unit song with Nino.
C: Nino and Aiba. Do you have a unit name?
A: Shall we make one (giggle)? We haven’t made one.
C: In this world people call you two NinoAi.
A: Oh really?
C: Yes.
A: Would you make one for us?
C: I do? I will be criticised.
A: No no no (giggle). This will not be the case, it’ll only be talked about in this radio, you will not be criticised.
C: Then, “Sobu sen” (Sobu Line).
A: Rejected (laugh).
C: Eh~ (laugh)

A: Oh I see, it’ll be great if we sing as unit “Sobu sen”. That’ll be great. But when we two discussed what to do in the unit song, we had various ideas and we had conclusion on what to do quickly, we said “Let’s do this.” We were sure about what we wanted to do, so when we thought about what song to make, we wanted to make a song that people will love. Really, We wanted to make a song which people will enjoy when listening to CD, and then during live, seeing the visuals, people will also enjoy, we considered these two points. We hope that audience coming to concert will enjoy this, while those don’t come to concert will also enjoy when watching DVD.

C: Can I ask one question?
A: Yup.
C: In this unit song, Aiba-san and Ninomiya-kun will work on it, what meeting did you all go through to reach this combination?
A: Staff decided it.
C: Staff?
A: Staff asked us if such combinations were good. And then there is a unit song by Leader, Sho-chan, and I three members. Ohno, Sakurai, Aiba, these three members will sing a song. How would it be? The unit name?
C: What would it be (giggle)?
A: (Laugh) What would it be? Three people.
C: Eh… Dango.
A: (Laugh) Three brothers, right? Dango. It sounds old-fashioned. Dango. If the unit name is Dango. No no, I can’t accept it. Reject. These three members are the three big brothers in the group. We said that we wanted to make joyful song. There are unit songs, there is long song (the suite song), there is aggressive song, there is fresh song, these all form the album “untitled”. There can’t be a title which contains all these songs, so this title “untitled” is the right one. Everyone please enjoy this album.

Aoki: PON! and ARASHI collaboration, Regular Autumn’s ARASHI Week!
S,N,A: Thank you!
S: It’s the ARASHI week decided by Aoki-san so will be proceeded by Aoki-san?

A: I probably noticed who.
Aoki: In particular among members.

S: Eyesight meet each other.

Aoki: Matsumoto-san had most eyesight with Ninomiya-san.
M: Among all members, I had particular more eyesight with Nino. Things like, indeed, how to say, because indeed Nino has the most thorough high-angle view.
Aoki: Is that so?
M: Therefore, things like, there are free songs in live (songs which members are free to move), there are times we think where (on stage) to go, each member goes to a different place on stage, there are times that (he) doesn’t move until the very end, at that moment I have eyesight with Nino, “Where will you go?” feeling like that.
