Precisely as the name “Guide”, as pulled by the TV magazines, I once again feel the number “55". This magazine which is already on issue before we were born lets us to appear in it, and lets us to be on the cover. When I feel really grateful, at the same time, I feel extraordinary. I think I shall work hard in order to appear a lot more in the upcoming issues. Congratulations!
Speaking of memory of TV, indeed the Sentai mono in the morning of Sundays. “Dengeki Sentai Changeman”, “Choudenshi Bioman”, “Kagaku Sentai Dainaman”... Though I have talked about it several times, I wanted to become Change Pegasus (giggle). I admired it at that time, even now I still like such imaginative animals like pegasus and unicorn. What is it about having wings on a horse? It’s fantastic isn’t it!? Thing like this (giggle). I watched a great deal of TV when I was in primary school~. Starting from TV drama “Miseinen” during my university time I was indulged in TV drama “Ikebukuro West Gate Park”. In particular during my childhood, both my parents were working, when I was back home in the evening I was alone or with my younger sister only, TV was the tool for us to wait for our parents to come back. I think it supported me and helped. The TV star I first admired apart from Change Pegasus (giggle) was Hikaru Genji. It was really impactful. Not only did they ride rollerskaters but they also did semaphore, they were people with various talents. It was gorgeous and glamorous above all things, I think because of that impact I am working in such works now.
Though now I don’t have a habit of staying tune to TV at home, when I was moving to workplace I watch the information programmes in the morning or news programmes in the evening, I have a feeling of obtaining information. Though it was quite some time ago, when there was an increase of ARASHI’s programmes and programmes in which I acted as MC, occasionally there were popular talents or young idols or actors whom I didn’t know, and I started to feel nervous. In the past when I moved to workplaces I used to listen to music, in these six, seven years I had a sense of obtaining information so I watched TV. When this talent does such neta I shall bring up such topic for conversation, thing like this. Therefore, though it’s work I am enjoying it.

I remember that phrase. I was thinking about that all along. Because when I was asked “What is your occupation?” I didn’t really have anything on hand to answer. I was not really a musician or actor or caster … though to put it the other way, perhaps all of them are my occupation. In this sense, I still think about it now. The "Occupation‧ARASHI" I now think is, “To have a look of the things produced by we five people". Though when I have work alone I also do it feeling ARASHI, indeed ARASHI is a work of five people.
