Sho-san met a mother and her kid Towa-kun. The kid was not born by the lady. He was her brother’s son, her brother was not able to take care of him and planned to send the kid to facility, before that, this lady took the kid to take care of him. It was five years ago, at that time Towa-kun was five months old. Over these five years Towa-kun does not know that she is not his born mother.

Currently there are 3,644 families taking care of the children not born by the family.

In the programme a special room was arranged for the lady to declare to Towa-kun that she is not his born mother. When the lady declared, Sho-san murmured (in another room) “Try best, try best.” Towa-kun said “I see.” when he knew that the lady was not his born mother. The lady asked Towa-kun if he will still treat her as mother, Towa-kun said of course. Sho-san asked Towa-kun if he likes his mother, Towa-kun said "I like mama all the time".
