TBS is decided to broadcast “99.9-Keiji Senmon Bengoshi-” (『99.9-刑事専門弁護士-』) SEASON II as Sunday drama (21:00~ every Sunday) in January 2018. ARASHI・Matsumoto Jun takes the leading role of this drama which SEASON I broadcast in April 2016 became a hit topic.

TBS TV drama turns “99.9” to be series since six years ago’s Sunday drama “JIN-” (October 2009, April 2011), “99.9” is the exceptional second Sunday drama to be turned to series. Matsumoto-san who acts the extraordinary young lawyer in the drama also reached extraordinary achievement in reality.
Matsumoto-san will continue his work in SEASON I and acts the hero Miyama Hiroto. Miyama is an extraordinary young lawyer in Madarame Law Firm, even for cases which are seen to be 99.9% guilty, until he accepts the remaining 0.1% facts he will try his best to find the truth.
And then, Sada Atsuhiro, acted by Kagawa Teruyuki, a skillful lawyer forms team with Miyama. The two will be the same as SEASON I, while clashing with each other, they disclose the hidden truth behind the cases commissioned to them. Also, please pay attention to the case 26 years ago which triggered Miyama to want to become a criminal lawyer, the case whose truth was not yet disclosed in SEASON I.
Furthermore, the new heroin is decided to be actress・Kimura Fumino. Kimura acts lawywer Ozaki Maiko who is originally a judge. Maiko got pass in national bar examination when she was studying at the University of Tokyo Department of Law, and became the judge after legal practice. She developed her career as criminal judge, but in one incident she resigned from judge. After resignation from judge she stayed distant from the legal field, but one day she accompanied her close friend to Madarame Law Firm for a commissioned defense, and was against Miyama who wanted to chase the 0.1% fact even the case was to be guilty from the evidence. On the other hand, knowing the excellent experience of Maiko, Sada asked Maiko to be his new power. At first Maiko was resistant to such request, but during the clash with Miyama, she decided to return the legal world as laywer, and became a member of Madarame. This lady, in the incident which she resigned from judge, there was an elite judge which was originally her superior. What is that incident? Ad then, team Madarame will one day fight against this man, what will this fight be?

I am excited to create work with this team again. Miyama Hiroto is a character which I put a lot of thought into. I have memory drilling on details with all the staff, and having joyful filming. Starting from Kagawa Teruyuki-san who acts Sada-san, I look forward to meeting all characters with various personalities again. What’s more, it is my first time acting with Kimura Fumino-san. It would be joyful with create this work with new co-acts in enjoyable filming site. Same as the contents of the drama, we will not compromise to the very last of last, in order to make a work that everyone will enjoy, we shall work to our best!!
