3/2 updated! Today is about Master in the episode of archery Player Furukawa Takaharu

Master who did kyudo [Japanese archery] in magazine.
His appearance doing archery was indeed cool. Whatever he does he looks cool…
I really envy him.

Though Master said that he did not hit the target during kyudo photography session…
During the archery corner, under the coaching of Player Furukawa he marvellously (!?) hit the tatami target.
Even so, it seemed that his arms were really numb.. he said “my arms are trembling”.
Though staff prepared the archery for female for him, it seemed that that was still too tough.
The archery Player Furukawa was really hard…

One behind-the-scene episode. When explaining the rule of archery that the target was 70m ahead,
70m was introduced as 3.5 carriages of “Yamanote Line”…
when this was filmed in the studio the narration said “Sobu Line”.
Though I wanted to put “Sobu Line” which Master took during Jr era…
Unexpectedly (!?) there was no reaction… so we put “Yamanote Line” which is easy to understand to all people in Japan.
If there was interesting reaction, we might have made image picture of Master riding on Sobu Line…
We bit failed this time… it would have been great if we could make Master chuckle.
But! The production team will not give up! We shall put how to make Master react as our top priority of consideration!

Further during the part about the natural side of Player Furukawa Master did prompt.
Did Player Furukawa have date with her girlfriend outside [home]? Or things related to “good smell”, Master straight asked these questions.
Master watched the VTR for the first time during filming. And then he asked questions based on what was impressive to him.
For us, since leaving the conversation up to Master would frequently lead to interesting conversation,
recently we frequently asked Master to handle the conversation.
With unique sensibility, and power to read the situation, I feel that Master’s MC skills were steadily advancing.

And then what was perfect was the question from Player Furukawa at the end about the difference between “silver medalist and gold medalist”.
By all means Player Furukawa said he wanted to ask this question.
I was worried that Master had to answer it all of a sudden, but Master was indeed Master. He gave a brilliant response.
In fact, as one would expect it was difficult to answer all of sudden? I wondered if I should say that before the filming.
However, indeed because that this programme looks natural and not arranged is one of its selling points,
I dared to include this during the filming. Master. Really splendid! It was really praiseworthy!
Everyone, if you were asked this question how would you answer?? I would end up feeling being driven into corner…
Tomorrow I shall write about the comment of Player Furukawa after filming!

Update: About the question by Player Furukawa to Master at the end of the programme:-

Player Furukawa: What is the difference between silver medalist and bronze medalist, and gold medalist?
Master: Wait! Wait! (giggle) It’s difficult! Sorry, but, Furukawa-san, neither am I an athlete nor have I been in such competition. Right?
Player Furukawa: No, if in case there is difference…
Master: If there is difference… (Thinking for few seconds) Isn’t that the answer? Gold medalist’s house is tidy isn’t it?
All: (Laugh)
Master: First of all, first of all (giggle). Please show us the home of Furukawa-san.
Kojima-san: When your home can be shown…
Master: Maybe the gold medal at Tokyo [Olympics would be won].
Player Furukawa: I see.
All: (Laugh)

As for this answer, may I supplement an information that Player Furukawa refused his home being filmed because it was not tidy. That’s why Master prompted if Player Furukawa had date with girlfriend outside home. آ
