arashitranslationARASHI performed last finale for the first-time at the 67th Kouhaku Uta Gassen (31 Dec at NHK hall), it is their eighth-time appearance on this stage. The last finale was titled “ARASHI x Kouhaku Special Medley”, with their debut song “A・RA・SHI” (1999), Happiness (2007), and “One Love” (2008).

Aiba Masaki who played the big role as White Team Host said “Thanks to the power of the splendid songs by every performer, I managed to be host thus far. Dream is something absolutely indispensable for people to live on. We ARASHI five people, hope to deliver dream to everyone with our songs, and let this dream be your strength for tomorrow”. During the singing he burst into tears, made a triumph pose with sense of fulfillment, and bowed deeply after singing.
