Tatsuya acted by Aiba-san is the vet of “Sakanoue Animal Clinic” in Kagurazaka. Quitting from animal hospital and returning home, he works under vet Tokumaru Sensei, suddenly Tokumaru Sensei leaves the clinic to Tatsuya and disappears. Tatsuya, while feeling puzzled, stays in the clinic and deepens his connection with the people in Kagurazaka. Tatsuya who is soon called “Ko Sensei” continues to work best as vet protecting the lives of the pets precious to the people in Kagurazaka.

Kase Tokiwa who is asked by Ko Sensei to work at Sakanoue Animal Clinic as AHT (animal health technician, vet nurse) is acted by Hirosue Ryoko-san. She raises her son Daichi by her own. Worked at Naltown Animal Clinic which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, for some reason she changes to work at Sakanoue Animal Clinic. Tokiwa is a gentle and strong lady with good skills as AHT, but in fact she has a big “secret”… While Tatsuya and Tokiwa become the best partners on work with solid trust to each other, the “secret” held by Tokiwa would change their relationship!

Because I had a feeling that “Boku to Shippo to Kagurazaka” is a very kind and warm drama, I looked forward to the filming. Ko Sensei fits the image of Aiba-san very well! He is caring and kind and loves animals - I thought it was a character just like Aiba-san. When we act together, I cannot distinguish when it is Aiba-san and when it is Ko Sensei (giggle). On the other hand, Aiba-san shows a totally different side, a manly side during the scenes of surgery and the scenes when we are to face lives seriously, I think audience who watch such gap would be heart-throbbed!
Tokiwa acted by me is a straightforward lady. While I think she would be the most “her” when she is with her son Daichi, she is a very straightforward person. She is a very charming lady, there are many parts of her which I feel empathise with. In the drama Tokiwa is good at cooking boiled food and is a warm character, while she is also a character of strong impact (giggle). Please also look forward to the character.
This is a work to be enjoyed by a wide spectrum of generation from adult to children at Friday nights. Please do get energy and courage from this drama!

Tokiwa-san acted by Hirosue-san is a mother character with her own stories, while Hirosue-san makes a very splendid acting on the character. While she is a gentle character, there is also moments she is strong… a mother with various personalities, I think this is a great character. I hope that audience would look forward to what relationship between Ko Sensei and Tokiwa-san would become.
The filming site of this drama is embraced by the atmosphere of the original comics, it is a site with gentle aura. With lots of tranquil staff, the filming goes gently without on/off.
While there is still some time to O.A, please look forward to this drama!

Boku to Shippo to Kagurazaka - How Ko Sensei met Tokiwa - Aiba Masaki [Spoiler alert]

Daichi, Kase Tokiwa's son, found a dog, at lost, hit by a car, Ko Sensei came by and cured the dog.
Tokiwa came to the clinic for his son. This is how Tokiwa first met Ko Sensei.
Tokiwa is a veteran AHT (animal health technician, vet nurse), looking for a job, and Ko Sensei doesn't have a good assistant.
It happened that Tokiwa helped Ko Sensei in a surgery, and Tokiwa found that Ko Sensei is a very skillful surgeon; though he is young his skills reveal that he has practiced in good clinic and accumulated good skills. On the other hand Ko Sensei found that Tokiwa is indeed veteran AHT and wants her to help in his clinic.

Later the owner of the dog came to the clinic to get the dog.
Daichi was found disappeared. He left his GPS in the clinic and nobody could find him.

Ko Sensei: (To owners) Sorry for keeping you waiting.
Tokiwa: (To Ko Sensei) Sorry Ko Sensei for making you apologise to the owners.
Ko Sensei: Now what I am worrying about is Daichi-kun.

Later they found Daichi in the course he usually takes the dog for walk.

Tokiwa: Daichi! You make us worry about you!
Ko Sensei: You want to... take him for the last walk.
Daichi: Well... It's bit... regrettable...
Ko Sensei: (Thinking: Not regrettable, but lonely, right?) Even a moment more, you want to stay for a while longer with Papi, right?
Daichi: (Nod in tears)

Later Tokiwa was employed by another vet clinic which was a big clinic. She found that the clinic "operates" without being "humane", so she left and went to Sakanoue Animal Clinic, thinking that Ko Sensei has the same aspiration with her, in that small vet clinic...



... I like the stories. The scriptlines are so "Masaki-like". I am weak on animal-related stories, and am touched to tears by the beautifully-depicted comics and I think this would be the same for the TV drama. Very much looking forward to it.
