■About the new TVCM
Sakurai Sho-san who appeared in a cooking programme. He was told that today’s menu is “curry onigiri” and, please make a bit unusual onigiri. While feeling bewildered he tried hard to put curry into the onigiri but indeed he was not good at it. Then, he was advised to use the “onigiri-maru” in the freezer. While bemoaning unconsciously “You should’ve told me earlier!”, seeing “onigiri-maru” for the first time Sakurai-san expressed keen interest in it. Using “onigiri-maru”, following the advice “peritto, pokotto, gyutto” to grasp the onigiri, the “curry onigiri” that has been so difficult to make becomes so easy, and he made a lot without thinking too much. Sakurai Sho-san who tried to eat them right away. Then, noticed the delicious onigiri, shouting “WAa~~!”, many genki children rushed in. They rushed to eat the onigiri. While surprised by the children who suddenly appeared, Sakurai Sho-san gently said “It’s OK, it’s OK to eat them!”. At the end Sakurai Sho-san and the children together said “delicious!” with their mouths full with onigiri, and he is impressed by this first-time “curry onigiri”.
This time’s highpoint is after all, the charming facial expression of Sakurai Sho-san which changes in every scene such as at first having had a hard fight and then using “onigiri-maru” to make onigiri skillfully and then making many onigiri without thinking too much, being surprised by the children who appeared suddenly, and at the end friendly eating onigiri mouth-full.
Using “onigiri-maru”, thus far the onigiri ingredients are difficult to prepare and now you simply grasp the onigiri-maru, from children to adults everyone can make very satisfactory onigiri, the CM conveys this message. Sakurai Sho-san who made the onigiri, and the children who ate the onigiri made an impressive CM with a smile expressing the deliciousness of the onigiri.
≪Filming episode≫
The filming was taken in the studio in Tokyo with a set of cooking programme. Sakurai Sho-san appeared in light blue shirt and red waist-apron.
During the filming, Sakurai Sho-san was explained by the director “I want you to respond to instruction at any time and grasp onigiri” before the filming. Scenes such as putting curry into onigiri also proceeded smoothly. However in fact this time, in order to further take Sakurai Sho-san’s natural good facial expression a little “cheat” was made. Sakurai Sho-san did not know in advance there were children rushing in, during the filming suddenly from the back of studio the children dashed in for the onigiri. Sakurai Sho-san who for a moment did not know what happen and showed a really surprised facial expression. While bewildered by the energy of the children, he treated them gently. Then finally got an explanation from the director, Sakurai Sho-san, while checked his facial expression together at the monitor, accepted his performance “As I was really surprised, I made a natural facial expression!”, the cheat was a big success! It was a joyful filming with endless smile throughout the process.
While the “OK!” was said by the director, Sakurai Sho-san greeted everyone with refreshing smile, and left the filming site.
