ARASHI scored top 3 with 2 videos at the same time in Oricon “Music DVD+BD category” for consecutive

Popular group ARASHI’s two live videos scored top 3 in “General DVD+Blu-ray Disc (BD) category” of all genres and “Music DVD+BD category” of music genre. For “Music DVD+BD category” ARASHI has for consecutively three years had two videos scoring top 3 at the same time, and updated the record of same artist consecutively having two videos entering top 3 at the same time.

For the two categories, 2nd rank is『ARASHI LIVE TOUR 2015 Japonism』 (602,000pc, released in August 2016), 3rd rank is『ARASHI BLAST in Miyagi』 (554,000pc, released in January 2016).

Furthermore, in “Music BD sales ranking”, the top rank is『～Japonism』with 309,000pc sales. It is the consecutively third year’s top rank after『ARASHI Live Tour 2013 “LOVE”』 of 2014 (released in July 2014), and『ARASHI LIVE TOUR 2014 THE DIGITALIAN』of 2015 (released in July 2015), which updated its own record of same artist achieving top “consecutively” in BD category. In “general” ranking it is ARASHI’s third top rank, outstanding two-time top rank of B’z (2010, 2012) and Amuro Namie (2009, 2013) and achieving the top record.

Ohno Satoshi topped Oricon Yearly TV Drama Category

The DVD and BD of NTV “Sekai Ichi Muzukashii Koi” (世界一難しい恋, released on 16 November 2016) broadcast in April 2016, in which ARASHI’s Ohno Satoshi (36) was the lead actor, topped the Oricon Yearly TV Drama Category with totally 33,000pc sales.

Ohno[-san] was as well the lead actor of “２４ＨＯＵＲ　ＴＥＬＥＶＩＳＩＯＮ TV Drama Special 2013 - Kyo no Hi wa Sayonara (今日の日はさようなら) (DVD+BD released in January 2014) which topped the Yearly Japanese TV Drama Category that year, achieving a record that the same lead actor topping this DVD+BD sales category the second time in general.
