A: Green onion sprouts.

A: I was touched by receiving a letter from Inohara (Yoshihiko)-kun several days after I appeared in “Asaichi”.
Q5: What thing was tough in 2017?
A: I did not stop coughing at the beginning of the year, I thought that I was ill and it turned out to be dry. I got cured after using humidifier.
Q6: What is your favourite recently?
A: I buy a lot octopus. I serve it with delicious sashimi sauce.
Q7: What is your source of energy?
A: The time I spend alone. I browse the fishing equipment and watch fishing videos and have a drink, such time is the most fortunate.
Q8: What make you relax?
A: When I go shopping at supermarket. I got excited when holding the basket. This year I made a lot curry and stew in my own style. I don’t really dislike cutting the onions and tearing myself (giggle).
Q9: What is your favourite interior?
A: Artificial green-leaf plants.
Q10: What do you do in off-duty days?
A: Recently I did nothing but staying in bed rolling all~ along.
Q11: If you have one month break?
A: I’ll go overseas where I can do fishing.
Q12: What season do you like most?
A: Summer. I am not good at winter… Though I am told to wear more if it’s cold, that’s not really so.
Q13: What thing is necessary to you now?
A: Time that I can pass alone.
Q14: What would you have in your last supper?
A: Ramen, fried rice. I am not good at stylish food like French cuisine because I am not in the mood of having them. Because it’s the last supper I want to have food I’m used to. Rice with egg is good too.
Q15: What thing do you feel concerned about?
A: If there is thing I am concerned about I’ve already dealt with it, so there is nothing I’m concerned about (giggle).
Q16: What person you couldn’t forget?
A: Shinjo (Tsuyoshi)-san. He appeared as guest in Jan VS ARASHI (120103). He came from Bali to appear in the programme and then he left saying “I have no time so I need to go”. I felt that “it’s interesting”, “he’s free-flow”.
Q17: What makes you have the awareness that you are in a unit?
A: I am encouraged by the sense of relief that I am not alone.
Q18: Wording that influenced you?
A: During my debut my good friend told me “It’s better not to compare with others but to compare with yesterday’s yourself”. I remember that I thought “Ah, I am what I am, just be myself would be fine”.
Q19: If God says to you “I can make your one wish come true”?
A: Take me to fishing.
Q20: What would you do in the morning of 1st Jan?
A: Every year I appear in Count Down live, somehow it’s morning when I go back home. From then I drink beer, I drink Japanese wine, and take one sleep and then wake up after morning and continue drinking. I browse and listen to New Year music on my mobile, and go to the shop of my good friend and drink Japanese wine with little New Year food and that’s a great day! (giggle).
Q21: The greatest new year thus far?
A: Around four years ago, I had my first-time overseas journey with my family.
Q22: Do you wear new clothes in New Year?
A: Not at all concerned about it.
Q23: Senpai you met a lot this year?
A: I went to Matsu-ni (Matsuoka Masahiro)’s birthday party.
Q24: Kouhai you met a lot this year?
A: Chinen Yuri.
Q25: What was Ninomiya-san in 2017.
A: Somehow he was like having movie filming all the time.
Q26: What was Matsumoto-san in 2017.
A: He seemed busy planning the live production during movie campaigns. What’s more, he never said such toughness himself and this is splendid!
Q27: What was Sakurai-san in 2017.
A: Drama, movie, news… recently he hosted the music programmes, and he had a lot of CMs. I feel like “This person appears on TV all along”.
Q28: What was Aiba-san in 2017.
A: He woke up early and went to gym, and slept before 12am (giggle). He is great to have regular and healthy life.
Q29: Looking back ARASHI in 2017.
A: We had various personal works in the first half year. There was lots of acting.
