[Rest day and journey overseas]
- Sho-san said that he has enough sleep, surprisingly (despite his busy schedule).

[Friendship]
- Recently he is getting along well with Kikuchi, he would call Sho-san “big bro”. Last year end, Kikuchi came to watch ARASHI’s concert, then they had meal together, starting from Matsumoto-san, with Nakamaru, Ueda, JUMP’s members, SZ. It was on Monday and Sho-san had ZERO so he didn’t go. After ZERO when he was back home, Kikuchi called him and said “Big bro, the meal ended, can I have a drink with you?” Since Sho-san was back home already, he asked Kikuchi if he wanted to come to his home for a drink. Then Kikuchi came to his home and said “Big bro, I was nervous.” He asked Kikuchi why and he said “I was sitting with Matsumoto-kun and Hey! Say! JUMP members, no~ I was nervous!” And Sho-san thought “Whose home are you at when you say this? It’s my home! I’m ARASHI!” Kikuchi was so relaxingly lingering on the sofa of Sho-san’s home and said “I was nervous~” and Sho-san thought that it was my home! (giggle)
- Recently Sho-san also met V6’s Okada Junichi-kun. Okada-san said that he was going to see a katana and asked Sho-san if he would join. It seemed that Okada-san was going to visit a professional smith who would like to show him a katana he made. Sho-san didn’t join the visit.

Nino gave him a pair of sunglasses without camouflage, but when put it off he found camouflage in the inner side of the temples and he thought it was so detailed.
- ARASHI debut in November 1999, and Leader’s birthday was in November, so since their debut they exchanged birthday gifts and continued this.
- Ogura-san also gave them birthday gifts every year. Ogura-san said that at first it was MatsuJun who said to him that he wanted a watch, and he gifted MatsuJun a vintage watch. And Ogura-san thought that he had gifted MatsuJun and it would be bad if he didn’t gift the other members. He thought a lot what to gift every year. In particular Sho-kun seemed to be with no interest / hobby, so he asked Sho-kun “What do you want?” and Sho-san said “I want to drink whiskey.” Sho-san said then Ogura-san gifted him two big boxes with various whiskey glasses and (decanter). After rehearsal and before official performance, Aiba-san, Ohno-san, and Ninomiya-san had a mini act that Aiba-san was shop owner and the other members were staff and they made takoyaki, but nobody was watching them (giggle). Matsumoto-san was in working meeting so was not in green room, and they went to him who was in the next room and said “We added things Sho-chan likes into the takoyaki. Sho-chan likes red pickled ginger, right~?” “Sho-chan likes roll cake?” “Roll cake is added.” And they gave me takoyaki with roll cake. - Sho-san said that they have been doing such thing all along. Recently before the official performance of concert Ohno-san and Aiba-san had act about “ladies who eat dessert”. - Sho-san said “during the era when I should cry, I was just unable to cry”.
