- The most distinguishing point of Aiba-kun is that he can enter the world of the athlete guests naturally without awareness, “like a magician”. When the filming proceeds the distance between Aiba-kun and guests shortens. During the episode of Boxer Player Inoue Naoya (16.12.06 O.A.), at first Master called him “Player Inoue” but later called him “Naoya-kun”. - Sense of “familiarity” is Aiba-kun’s another talent. He is top idol but he is friendly. I understand why everyone meeting him turns out to be fond of him.
- He is also a considerate person. He concerns guests a lot and would ask staff to give water to the guests during the challenge session despite that he himself also sweats a lot.
- It is such considerate mind and talent to shorten the distance with others that makes him good at initiating various conversation. Player Kasai Noriaki said “It’s my first time having talked such a lot and let others see my natural self” after filming.
- During MC announcement press release Aiba-kun said that “my weapon is my relax-ness / looseness”, I think actually he thinks a lot in his head. The preparation meeting of this programme is around 10 minutes. The talk is largely given to Aiba-kun’s effort. Aiba-kun keeps his unique relaxing atmosphere despite that he needs to handle any sudden situation. I think he himself won’t say anything about it, but actually he considers a lot.

- Aiba-san absolutely never says “I am tired”. He is really professional.

- “Let’s enjoy today too!” One word from Aiba brightens the filming site
- Aiba-kun’s charm is his working very hard on his work. He always works to his utmost to make the programme interesting. And such great effort is felt by the staff of the programme. The synergy is that the staff also work to their best. All staff like Aiba Masaki so naturally work to their best, the filming site with Aiba-kun as the focus is never short of laughter.
- During the episode at Shizuoka (16.05.22 O.A.) in which they needed to catch fish at deep sea, the day of location filming was with heavy rain. In fact it was difficult to sail, and we discussed with Aiba-kun what to do. At that time Aiba-san said immediately “Let’s do it!” In that bad weather he just said “It’s OK! It’s OK” with smile. He is really professional.
- During previous filming I asked Aiba-kun “You are busy this year-end, are you OK?” Aiba-kun answered “There are lots of things to do~ (giggle)” with smiling face and then said “So, let’s enjoy today too!” He was so splendid to just talk about his busy work in just one sentence. He also had a great choice of words. He didn’t say “let’s work hard” but “let’s enjoy”. With this “let’s enjoy” I understood his thought of working with staff together to make this programme.
- Aiba-kun is super idol, but he gives you a feeling that he is very close to you, he is with such marvellous power. When I watch ARASHI’s live I think “he is great~ indeed a distant existence to me” (giggle). But Aiba-kun at the filming site gives a sense of familiarity.
- Aiba-kun creates an easy-going atmosphere which makes staff easy to work with him. It’s probably his instinct rather than calculation.
- Aiba-kun pays attention to the surrounding and is considerate.
- Aiba-kun always works to his utmost, always being considerate to others. That’s why there are so many people who are fond of him.
