[Meeting with Governor]
We have been doing the event “ARASHI no WakuWaku Gakkou”, this time we would like to donate part of the profit.
This time there is torrential rain concentrated in the west Japan area, the torrential rain in July, I would like to express my sincere condolences to the victims. In addition, I would like to express my sincere sympathy to the people affected by the disaster.
Today only I came, while it would be great if all members could come, in order to firmly send through the donation as soon as possible, I as the representative paid this visit. All the members share the same feeling towards the disaster.
While I think everyone is working hard on the recovery and revival as soon as possible, we shall also work our best, including our usual activities, to become support and stay close to everyone, even a little; I pray that the smiling face would return and everyone would live happy and energetic life as soon as possible.
We want to do as much as what we can while thinking about what we could do, even a little, so that everyone could return to usual lives as soon as possible.
From ARASHI Members: We hope that the visit would make everyone feel more energetic, even a little.
[Visit evacuees]
I came to hand the donation to the Governor. When we thought of what we could do for you, although just a few, I brought along some T shirts and towels… while it was not in time to prepare the portion for all of you… so, look, you, what’s your name… Kensei-kun. (Gave the kid the package of relief supplies)
(When holding a kid crying) Sorry sorry, I am not good at the way of holding a baby, sorry (giggle)
I think it would take a lot of time (for recovery), of course for what we can do, though today only I came to visit you, my members and a lot of Johnny’s artists also concern about you, we definitely want to do what we can if we could be the support of all of you.
I came here to visit everyone and talked to them, above all I am very happy that everyone was happy. I think there was one person asking “Eh? What are you here for?”, I am happy that I am welcomed by them, I am very happy that the activities we have been working on as ARASHI became an opportunity to get connected to people here.
I think that the restoration work in hot weather is tough, please be careful with hydration as heat stroke is dangerous.
From now on as well, from Tokyo, not only we (ARASHI) five members but also Johnny’s artists would cheer for all of you, and I hope there would be opportunity that we would meet again. Please take care in such hot summer. Thank you.
During photo taking session, Matsumoto-san encouraged the evacuees “though it’s still hot please overcome it”.
